Project and board

The project of the golf course was elaborated by the landscape architect Bernd Hofmann from B. Hofmann & H. Röttgen - Freie Landschaftsarchitekten - Limburgerhof (D) and by the golf pro Wolfgang Jersombeck from W. Jersombeck - Golfplatz - Planung und Projektierung GmbH - Landau (D).

Wolfgang Jersombeck was one of the most famous golf players of the German PGA tour, was head professional for 26 years and is an ex World Cup player.

Coordinator and site manager was Dr. Ing. Luciano Canziani.

Kurt Obkircher, who had the idea of this golf course, was responsible for the project on behalf of the owner company St. Vigil GmbH.

At the planning stage special attention was turned to the realization of a golf course with a high technical and sportive level, which at the same time perfectly fits into the environment. For this reason we took care not to mesh too much with nature when inserting water areas, planting habitat-oriented flora and lining up the holes. All this contributes to the satisfaction of every golf player, who can enjoy and relax surrounded by wonderful nature.
